Last week was a lot of first and family fun.

It started with kids first outing to lunch alone with their Great-Grandpa and Grandma Buck atRed Robin.

Isabella passed her first level of Ice Skating and got her award and patch. She is ready for level 2 and which she wants to start ASAP but mom thinks we will skip fall and start again in winter just to get use to our going to school routine before we add and more to it.

Isabella had her first sleepover at Aunt Diane's house. They stayed up very late she had 2 scoops of ice cream and got to go shopping for a new school outfit. Lucky Girl

The next day Aunt Diane took us to a friend’s house that has an alpaca farm. The kids got to pet and feed the alpacas and learn a little about them.

We had a lazy day of picking berries and making forts.

Isabella got to go to Papa’s union meeting and won the 3^rd place award for her drawing in the kindergarten division. She got a beautiful certificate and a $25 gift card to Toys R Us.

Great-Great Uncle Chris had a wedding gig and came to visit us from California. The kids had a wonderful time playing and chasing him around.

The kids and I went to the Flint Tip Annual picnic while Jake was at work. We all had so much fun shooting our bows, participating in the egg toss, the kids did the piñata and Papa & Archer did the pie eating contest.

To end the week of Bella and Archer got there award of a kaleidoscope from the library for reading 1000 minutes in the summer reading program.

Wow that was alot of stuff in one week.

Flowers, Friends and Phineas and Ferb

This has been a fun filled week full of play dates with friends, enjoying the beautiful flowers in the yard and ending the week with a special viewing of the Phineas and Ferb movie.

 We stared the week at my sweet friend April’s house who is always one to welcome more kids over. The kids played in the pool and had a great time.

My hubby brought me home beautiful sunflowers and they are just amazing this time of the year.

Our ice princess is still at it loving her lessons.

The vibrant hydrangeas so pretty, Ron and Tina got me the pink one and Carl and Sheri the blue for a house warming gift they have a ton of new flowers.

I am interested to see if what color they decide to be in my yard next year.

On Wednesday we had a fun play date at our house with my girlfriend April, Christy and Naomi and there kiddos. The kids celebrated Kiki’s birthday with some ice-cream, made some homemade Gak and got to meet Thomas snake.

The flowers in the yard are growning like crazy so many diffrent colors and types. I love the wildflower mix I planted you never know what you are going to get.

Thusday we had my girlfriend Melissa and her son Johnny over the boys played in the pool.

 Bella had her classmate Nora over and they too played in the pool and made Gak.

On Friday we went to the zoo with another firefighter that Jakes works with and his family. We had a great time with his 4 kids and wife and got to see the baby snow leopards.  

We got a phone call from our cousins B-rat and Nicole to come have movie night with their family to watch the primer of the new Phineas and Ferb movie. Which I don’t know who was more excited the kids or the grown up to watch. We had yummy ice cream Sundays and a lot of fun.

Milo is loving life in his kitty tunnel outside that Nonna gave him 

Archer decided he was going to rescue him from a imaginary tree in the house.

The garden is growing like wildfire. I have 5 good sized pumpkins now and the sunflowers are taller than the deer fencing.

Hope you are all having a wonderful week only 22 days left till 1st grade. I know because Bella reminds me ever morning.

Birthday's and Bowling

It has been a very full fun fast week. The kids did their second VBS which I was a bad mommy and didn't take any pictures of. I spend a few days with my girlfriend’s school shopping while we were kid free. Bella also had a sleep over with her buddy Reagan and again bad Mom didn't take any pics. But we did go to our friend Lexi and Kikis birthday pool party and I did take pics of that. The kids swam for hours and crashed when they got home. We also went for the kids first time to the bowling alley on Sunday when it was raining. They both loved to bowl and want to go back again. Can't believe August is here and only 30 more days of summer vacation. We are going to try and use every moment of it for family fun and hopefully some great weather to enjoy.
