It has been a fun filled couple of weeks. I keep saying oh need to post on the blog then I look at the calendar and realized 2 weeks went by. Time just fly’s when you are having fun. Started the week with MOPS! I am a DGL (discussion group leader) this year. I have a great group of ladies at my table this year and am looking forward to a fun filled year getting to know them and spend time with friends old and new.

Archer went and had his 20 minute visit with Mrs. Brown. He got to put his picture on the wall and pick his coat hook and mail box out.

The kids started awanas this week. Bella is in her 2nd year of sparks and Archer his 2nd year of cubbies. They are looking forward to a fun year.

We spent Saturday celebrating one of my BFF’s 30th Birthdays at the Yella Beak. It was a great time of dancing, friends and cake!

Sunday we went to our cousin John and Nicole’s little guy Brogan's 1st birthday party. It was so cute monkey themed with some beautiful decorations that Nic made and the birthday boy is such a sweetheart.

Archer started his 2nd year of pre-school this week. He loves it and wants to go everyday!

One of the Pre-school Moms made every kid in class these cute owl hats. Since there animal this year is owls. Archer wants to wear his all the time. I have to make him take it off at bed time. Thanks Jess!

We went to Open house at Bella’s school. She got to show me around her class room and learn about everything that goes on thru out her school day. This is her wonderful teacher Mrs. Roback who is due with her 1st baby in November.

The sunflowers are growing like crazy and the pumpkins are turning orange. My friend Christy and I made homemade apple/pear sauce and I am hoping to pick more black berries this week.

That's it for now hope you are enjoying these last few days of summer!

Well we are in the full swing of school and the days seem fuller than ever. We started our week off at the Labor Day parade with my Mom and John, Nicole, Ella and Brogan in Black Diamond. The kids do love a good parade. Isabella is having a great time at school; she loves her teachers and her friends. She is tried by the time school is over for the day but I know she will get use to the long days.

Bella and Archer started getting an allowance this week with their chore chart. Big Kids!

We met my parents and brother at the Puyallup fair for our annual trip. It was a warm day but a lot of fun. We enjoy the day and the beautiful animals, artwork and produce.

The garden is growing like crazy the pumpkins are turning orange. The kids and I harvested 3 of them today. We have 7 of them that are still green and the Sunflowers are amazing.

Summer Vacation comes to an end..

Well this has been a very fun filled week. School is now started and we are enjoying every moment of these last beautiful days of summer.

To start the week off Bella found out she is in Mrs.Robacks 1st grade class (the teacher she wanted). She is got to go pick out her desk and catch up with her buddies before school started.
We got to have a visit with our sweet Miss Wendy. She made us tea and played the piano for the kids.

The Garden is growing pumpkins are getting bigger and sunflowers are blooming and my artichoke plant is doing really well.

Archer had a play day at pre-school. He got to see Mrs. Brown and his friends.

Our big girl started 1st grade this week. She was very excited to be at school all day and eat lunch with her friends and ride the bus home. We all were a little sad and happy to see her go, the time fly’s when you are having fun.

The first of many lunches I packed for school.

Ariel and Flower have been around quite a bit the past week. Flower is still very unsure of us but lets us check him out as long as we don’t get to close or make too much noise.

Nonna found a prize on the side of the road with a free sign on it. Of course it didn’t work but papa fixed it. Archer got a whole week of fun before the back tire quit working but he did have a good time.

Papa and Bella have been enjoying the Kohlrabi from the garden.

On Friday was archer's Godmothers Birthday. He picked her a flower from the garden and picked out a very beautiful spounge bob card he just knew she would want

Happy Birthday Auntie Nicole!

On Friday Jake rode with the local firefighters some of who were going across the country to the 10th Anniversary of 9/11.  He said it was a pretty amazing thing. 40 of them started in Tacoma and pick up a few along the way. About 20 were going all the way they will be meeting up with firefighters from all around the country who will also be riding. Please pray for there safety.

Saturday Jake and I cut wood and burnt the brush from all the limbs Hogan cut from the tree.

While we did that the kids "helped" Papa wash his boat.

This was a week also of blackberries picking. My girlfriend Christy and I picked and made jam. We also picked with the LaVoie’s and Bella and I made pie.

Bella made a little pie she took to Great-Grandma & Great Grandpa.

We took the kids to Seattle yesterday. Went to Pike Place Market and the waterfront, the weather was amazing and we had a great time.

When we got home Papa asked if the kids wanted to go test the boat motor he had been working on at the lake. As you can tell by the picture they didn’t have any fun.
