90th Birthday's, engagements, baby showers, tree cutting and canoes it’s been a full week

We started the week with our Cousins John, Nicole, Ella and Brogan. We had a great evening just hanging out, BBQing and watching the kids play

On Monday we went with my girlfriend April and her sweet kiddos to the zoo, the kids had a wonderful time and we got in the car just in time for the rain to start.

Our deer Ariel came to visit and brought her new baby "flower" as the kids have so lovingly named it. I think flower is a boy so we will see if the name changes.

Wednesday we went with Nicole, Ella and Brogan down to my best buddy Emily's house for horse riding and a picnic lunch. The kids had a blast. On the way home we stopped for yummy ice cream in Enumclaw and it was heavenly. Then home for some fun in the pool.

On Wednesday we had a very exciting time with our friend Hogan. He came and did major work on our giant tree in our front yard. It is so much healthier and the danger of one of the many broke branches taking out the kids is no longer a risk.
 The before shot.
After and yes that is Hogan in the top of the tree.

Thanks Hogan!
He had an audience to watch his skills.

Saturday was a fun day. We got to go to our friend Sarah’s baby shower thrown by her sisters in law Sommer and Leah. Very fun and they had the cutest theme "Cute as a button"

After the shower we went to Grandma Mary's 90th Birthday party which was special all by itself. But it got better, Jakes cousin Kelly got engaged to her long time boyfriend Reese. It was so special to witness and there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

Look at that rock!

Sunday was one of my favorite days ever with my son. Archer and I went to Lake Retreat with our churches annual picnic. We canoed around the lake Archer said
“Mama was his best day ever.”

When we came home Archer and I picked goodies out of the garden and played outside.
While we were at the lake Bella went with my girlfriends Christy and April and girls to Miss Cindy’s house for a pre-school fashion show tea. She had so much fun and can't wait to do it again next year.

I also canned more peaches. This week  Yummy!

Weeks are just flying by..

How did another week just fly by? Wow only 11 days till school starts.

Bella is now riding her bike without training wheels. After a month of watching her brother do it she was determined and with a little help from daddy she’s got it down now.

Jake and I got a wonderful gift of airline passes from my cousin Chris and his wife Candy and with school starting and the availability for my mom to watch the kids becoming less with her coworker having a baby we thought better go now while we have a sitter and the time. Vegas was one of the few places that had open flight where we weren’t going to get stuck hoping to get on a flight so we went for a few days and had a wonderful time.

 I love the art
 Jake loved the cars.

They must have known I was coming because the Fremont Street display was 80’s movies and 80’s bands which are 2 of my favorite things.

We went to the Viva Elvis Cirque Soleil show it was amazing. I wish I could have taking pics in the theater.

While we were gone Papa and Nonna took care of the kids and my dear friend April had them for a day too. It was great to leave and know they are in good hands.
They went to Archer's pre-school picnic and had a great time.

Our beloved Mrs Brown

Today was the pancake breakfast at Snoqualmie Fire Department. The kids always have a great time at Daddy’s work.

Today Isabella, Nonna and I canned peaches they turned out beautiful and a true sign that we are at the end of the summer.

The garden is growning sunflowers are getting tall and pumpkins are getting big and the apples are getting bigger too. Another sign fall is on the way.

Last week was a lot of first and family fun.

It started with kids first outing to lunch alone with their Great-Grandpa and Grandma Buck atRed Robin.
Isabella passed her first level of Ice Skating and got her award and patch. She is ready for level 2 and which she wants to start ASAP but mom thinks we will skip fall and start again in winter just to get use to our going to school routine before we add and more to it.

Isabella had her first sleepover at Aunt Diane's house. They stayed up very late she had 2 scoops of ice cream and got to go shopping for a new school outfit. Lucky Girl

The next day Aunt Diane took us to a friend’s house that has an alpaca farm. The kids got to pet and feed the alpacas and learn a little about them.

We had a lazy day of picking berries and making forts.

Isabella got to go to Papa’s union meeting and won the 3rd place award for her drawing in the kindergarten division. She got a beautiful certificate and a $25 gift card to Toys R Us.
Great-Great Uncle Chris had a wedding gig and came to visit us from California. The kids had a wonderful time playing and chasing him around.

The kids and I went to the Flint Tip Annual picnic while Jake was at work. We all had so much fun shooting our bows, participating in the egg toss, the kids did the piƱata and Papa & Archer did the pie eating contest.

To end the week of Bella and Archer got there award of a kaleidoscope from the library for reading 1000 minutes in the summer reading program.

Wow that was alot of stuff in one week.
